A lovely vintage 1940s dress, made from smooth light weight rayon fabric with a geometric & floral print in shades of green, blue & orange on a white background. It has a short sleeved dolman bodice with a stand-collared boat neck; the skirt is very full & flared, with gathering at 2 tiers which are trimmed with black piping. There is a side opening with a silver metal 'MEWA' zip with a nicely shaped puller & thread belt loops; the length of black ribbon shown in the photos is included.

Condition: In very good condition with light wear overall - the seam above the zip has been re-stitched by hand and there is an old darn to the left bodice back just above the waist seam (see close ups). Has been carefully hand washed & steamed prior to listing.
