A delightful vintage c.1940s hand knitted Fair Isle waistcoat with an overall geometric pattern in brown, green, yellow & red on a marled light brown background on the front, & plain chocolate brown back; the yarn is quite soft and feels like pure wool. It has a high round neck, ribbed waistband with shirring elastic at the back, & fastens with 8 tortoiseshell effect early plastic buttons.

Condition: In very good condition, with light overall bobbling. The knit is slightly stretched & matted under the arms - the ribbed neckband is rather loosely sewn on & is pulling away from the body slightly.
