The ‘Old Fashioned Garments’ polo neck jumper is a vintage reproduction faithfully adapted from an original WW2 'Bairns-wear Service Woollies' pattern; it differs from our other roll necks in having a more fitted body & shaped neckline. Each piece is individually hand made by Rosie in our Norfolk workroom on a manually operated knitting machine (sometimes referred to as ‘hand frame knitting’), using British 4-ply yarns which have been carefully chosen for their traditional appearance; thus each one is either unique or a very limited edition.
This one is made from a medium weight pure Shetland wool in a complex stony grey-brown melange - on my screen the outdoor shots on the model are most accurate.
