The ‘Old Fashioned Garments’ zip neck jumper is a vintage reproduction adapted from a 1940s Bestway ‘Man’s Lumber Jacket’ pattern, individually hand made by Rosie on a knitting machine using discontinued or end of line pure British wool 4-ply yarns which have been carefully chosen for their traditional appearance. This style of pullover was very popular from the 1930s to the 1950s, but originals are extremely difficult to find today, especially in wearable condition.
This one is in a damson colour with scattered pale blue & natural flecks; it is fitted with a new old stock 6" brass 'Lightning' zip.
