A vintage early 1950s swing jacket by 'Holder Bros.', made from medium weight wool in Royal Stewart tartan. The jacket is dolman cut with an edge to edge front (i.e. there are no fastenings), has a square collar with revers, padded shoulders, long sleeves with deep cuff bands and a bias cut peplum band with small pockets at the front; it is fully lined in black crepe de chine.

Condition: In good condition overall - there is a small repair to the front pocket & one on the back toward the hem (see close ups) and subtle sun fading across the upper parts (not very apparent when worn). Has been carefully hand washed & steamed prior to listing.
