A vintage 1950s dress, home made from a fairly weighty, soft & drapey flannel type fabric which feels like all wool, in a predominantly off-white, green & red tartan or plaid pattern. The bodice has a round neck, front opening with 4 pinkish-red marbled plastic buttons, darts for fit at the waist, unpadded shoulders, & 3/4-length sleeves with cuff turn-backs; the 2-gore skirt is very flared & deeply pleated into the waist. It fastens at the side with poppers & a hook/eye. NB: The belt in the photo is NOT included and is NOT for sale.

Condition: In very good condition overall - on close examination there is very subtle yellowish discoloration to the upper back area, and a small hole to the skirt (see last photo). Has been carefully hand washed & steamed prior to listing.
