A vintage 1950s skirt, home made from drapey wool/rayon blend flannel fabric in charcoal grey colour. It is slightly flared, with a rear pleat & is very fitted at the waist - the hip to waist ratio suggest that it is intended to be worn with a girdle or corset. The skirt is unlined & fastens at the side with a 'ColorMetal' zip which may be a replacement & hooks at the waistband.

Condition: In very good condition overall - on close inspection there is an area of wear along the hem line (see last photo), and the stitching is slightly strained at the top of the pleat.
