RARE 1940s Checked Swagger Swing Jacket Brown Green Checked Tweed Wool Coat UK S/M
A rare vintage 1940s British hip-length swing or swagger jacket, made by 'John Howard' from a medium weight wool tweed fabric in brown, ginger & off-white micro-checks with bold overchecks in green. Cut in a high-fastening double-breasted style, with generous pointed collar, strongly padded shoulders, curved rear yoke, & loose, fan-shaped panelled back; it fastens with domed toffee-brown early plastic buttons & is fully lined with pinkish crepe de chine.
NB: Please study the photographs carefully, they form an important part of the description.

I do my very best to carefully list/illustrate any flaws I find. This item is sold as is - no returns unless the item has been grossly misrepresented.
