Rare Vintage 1930s Sports Coat Grey Blue Cream Tweed 30s Overcoat UK S/M
A tremendous vintage early 1930s American sport coat made by 'Chippewa' from medium-weight tweedy wool fabric in a small checkerboard weave in marled blue, grey & cream. Made in a soft, unstructured way, it has quite a low gorge with big collar & wide lapels, fairly narrow, unpadded shoulders, long, slim sleeves with pointed cuff turn backs, & slash hand warmer pockets; it fastens with 3 close-set early plastic art deco buttons & has a matching belt. Self-lined at the yoke but otherwise unlined, with a lovely graphic embroidered label.
