An unusual & stylish vintage 1980s sports jacket made in Ireland for 'Ireland House Shop' from medium-weight tweed in a herringbone weave in shades of brown & grey which give an overall greenish tone. Cut in a masculine style with a strong 1930s/1940s influence, it has notched lapels, padded shoulders, large patch pockets with scalloped flaps, rear shoulder yoke, attached back belt with free ends which extend part way round the front with buttoned ends, welted outside sleeve seams & copious top-stitching. Fitted with horn-effect buttons & fully lined with brown acetate.

Condition: In very good condition with light wear overall - there is a little bit of seam strain on the right side seam behind the belt - the lining has patchy fading / discolouration, some marks & stains, wear & tears at front hem (arrowed) & inside the cuffs.
