A really fabulous pair of vintage 1940s shoes by ‘Hutton of Northampton’, made from grainy textured green leather. The style is called ’Nomad’, they fasten with Ghillie type lace loops, have decorative fabric lacing details around the toe & opening, & low wedge platform soles with leather at the top & textured crepe at the bottom.

Size: Marked Size 5 1/2, Estimated UK 5/5.5 (please check measurements below) Approx. inside sole measurement: 9 5/8" (24.3cm) Width across the widest part of the sole approx: 3 1/4" (8.2cm) Heel height: 1 1/4” (3.2cm)
Condition: In very good condition - appear seldom worn but there are a few scuffs & scrapes to the toes & a few minor marks elsewhere. The soles are quite stiff & the footbed is hard, although the crepe part is soft, so they would probably be more like clogs to wear.
