A delightful vintage early 1950s circle skirt from "St. Michael" (i.e. Marks & Spencer), made from a cotton barkcloth fabric with a fabulous bold novelty print of huge yellow roses on a brown background with black shading. Made in 2 pieces, it fastens at the left side with a painted metal 'Aero' zip with a brown plastic button on the waistband, & has a pocket on the right side. Condition: In very good condition, with light overall wear. On close examination there are 3 small snags/drawn threads to the surface of the fabric just behind the pocket (see close up). Has been carefully hand washed and steamed prior to listing.
