Superb Vintage 1940s Handmade Dress WW2 Seafoam Blue UK XS
A wonderfully stylish vintage 1940s dress, hand made from a medium to heavy weight slightly fleecy wool fabric in a seafoam green colour. The cut is very unusual, with delightful pointed pocket details, a high roll neck with a self-covered button to fasten the back, short sleeves with turn-back cuffs, & slightly A-line skirt with a generous pleat at the front. The side fastens with a painted metal 'Crown' zip, & there is a matching belt with self-covered buckle.
Please study the photographs carefully - they form an important part of the description.

In good condition overall, with light wear & some minor flaws: - there is a small repair to the underside of the left sleeve - a repair to the back bodice next to the sleeve seam at the right armpit - a tiny darn to the skirt front near the pleat (barely noticeable) - a very skilfully executed darn or reweave to the skirt back about 6 1/2" up from the hem. The belt buckle has discoloured. There are 3 missing teeth from the zip, but it still fastens.
