A wonderful vintage c.late 1930s dress, home made from soft, drapey linen & rayon blend Moygashel-type woven fabric with an overall botanic design of fruits & leaves, made by printing the black background elements onto off white cloth. The bodice has a v-neck, shawl type collar, elbow length sleeves with turn-back cuffs & padded shoulders; it fastens with 4 off white early plastic buttons & bound button holes. The skirt has a peplum, & is a fairly narrow straight style with 2 box pleats at the side seams. The dress fastens at the side with concealed metal poppers. NB. The belt in the photos is NOT included & is not for sale.

Condition: In excellent condition overall, appears seldom worn - there is a faint small orangey coloured mark to the bodice which is just covered by the placket (see last photo) which would probably wash out.
