A beautiful 1930s capelet made from a faux fur alpaca wool fabric in a variegated brown colour. It has a round funnel collar, darts at the shoulders, & fastens with a large decorative celluloid button & loop at the throat with an internal tie below the bust; it is fully lined in brown rayon twill. NB: Please study the photographs carefully, they form an important part of the description.

Condition: Good overall - there is loss of pile along the edges, with more noticeable balding on the left neck edge - a few other small bald patches which the camera couldn't see - the hanging loop is missing - the lining has a few snags & a small hole towards the right front hem. Has been thoroughly steamed prior to listing.
