Vintage 1930s Embroidered Peasant Blouse Jacket White Cotton UK S
An unusual vintage 1930s home made open-fronted jacket, made from white cotton embellished along the leading edges with hand embroidered stylised flowers & leaves in blue & red. It has elbow-length sleeves with turn-back cuffs & gathered heads, and is darted & shaped to fit the waist.
Please study the photographs carefully - they form an important part of the description.

Shoulder seam to shoulder seam approx.: 14" (35.5 cm)
Width at hem: 16" (40.6 cm)

Condition:
In good condition overall, with signs of wear & use - there is a small frayed patch on the lower left front near the dart - a small fray to the edge of the neck back - a pin hole to the lower back close to the centre seam - at some point there were hooks & eyes sewn inside the facing to fasten the front; these have been removed but there are rusty marks where they used to be, and there are a few scattered tiny orangey rust spots elsewhere - there have been a number of historical alterations to the centre back seam, & some of the seam allowance has been cut away; parts of the previous stitching remain on the inside
I have a no returns policy - please check the above measurements and compare to a similar garment of your own before buying - no refund offered for items that don’t fit.
