Vintage Unworn 1930s Housecoat Dressing Gown Blue Wool Robe Deco Trapunto UK S
A really wonderful vintage 1930s deadstock housecoat or robe, made from fine, soft wool fabric in a duck egg blue colour. It has a plethora of art deco details, with broad pointed lapels & gauntlet cuffs embellished with geometric trapunto stitching, pointed mock pocket flaps & collar with decorative top-stitching, angular Princess seams & double-breasted front with 6 early plastic faceted buttons. No labels apart from a hand-written number tacked at the neck; appears to be a couturier sample or dressmaker piece.
