A vintage 1940s blouse or shirt from the famous 'London Pride' brand, made from Moygashel slubby flecked linen/rayon fabric in deep lilac. It has a small square collar, short sleeves with turn-back cuffs & supported heads, & is darted to fit the waist; collar & cuffs have top-stitch decoration, & the front fastens with mother-of-pearl buttons with a popper at the neck.

Condition: In very good condition overall - there is some surface wear to each side of the neck on the collar fold (see close up) - I suspect it has been over-dyed at some point, as the label is so colour-matched, but there is no sign of any other colour anywhere. Has been carefully hand washed & steamed prior to listing.
