A deadstock pair of 1940s/1950s French summer shoes ‘La Sandale Regina’, made from grey suede with a flat crepe sole & heel. They are a lace-up style with a squarish stiffened toe-box, centre toe seam, ventilation perforations, & are unlined.

Size: Marked Size 39 (EU), Estimated UK 6 (please check measurements below) Approx. inside sole measurement: 9 3/4" (24.8cm) Width across the widest part of the sole approx: 3 5/8" (9.2cm) Heel height: 1” (2.5cm)
Condition: In unworn, new old stock condition, with some minor scuffs & storage marks - patchy fading to the laces - the crepe soles have gone hard with time & have some dings & dents to the edges (I have often found that sunlight & warmth will soften such soles.)
