A charming vintage 1940s housecoat or dressing gown, hand/home made from a medium weight linen or linen/rayon blend fabric with a geometric & floral design in red, yellow, light blue & antique white on a dark blue background. It is a double breasted style with pointed collar & revers, single button fastening with concealed metal popper at the waist & at hip level to hold the leading edge in place, straight sleeves with supported heads & turn-back cuffs, single large pocket on the right hip & self tie belt at the waist.
Size: Suggested UK S. Shown on a mannequin with a 36" bust (please check measurements below)

Condition:
In very good condition - there is some fading across the shoulders, which is most pronounced at the right shoulder (see close ups) and 3 snags to the fabric (circled - see close ups). Has been carefully hand washed and steamed prior to listing.
