About this item
A lovely 1940s overall smock coat by 'Hawkins of Preston', made from a cotton fabric with a cheerful multicoloured novelty paisley print. It has an open neck with long pointed collar, opens all the way down the front with embossed green rubber buttons to fasten, long sleeves with shirt-style buttoned cuffs, 2 lower patch pockets, & a self tie belt set into the front darts. Could equally well be worn as a coat dress or summer coat instead of an overall.
