A very summery vintage circa 1940s pinafore or sun dress, hand made from pink & green checked dobby textured cotton fabric. It has a square neckline with gathering on the lower edge & a flared bias-cut 4-gore skirt; there are patch pockets with gathered tops to match the neckline, & a side opening fastened with poppers.

Condition: In very good condition, with light wear overall - there is a very faint mark on the centre front, between the pockets. NB the black spot on the edge of the right pocket is a bit of fluff which landed there, it is not a mark.
