Vintage Mens 1950s Burton Trenchcoat Double Breasted Raincoat Mac 44"
A vintage 1950s 'Burton breakwater raincoat' or trench coat made from silicone proofed gabardine fabric in a taupe colour. Cut in a classic double-breasted style, it has padded shoulders, cuff tabs, slash pockets, kick vent, & matching belt with plastic buckle. Fully lined with iridescent coppery-green satin fabric; there is a zip attachment for a removable lining which is no longer present.

Size: S - Suggested 44" Regular depending on whether a suit jacket is worn beneath.

All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate for circumference (with approx. metric equivalent):

Back length - base of collar to hem: 47 1/2" (120.6cm)
Condition:
In very good condition with light wear overall - there is some fading & discolouration to the collar/lapel fold & collar edges - scattered, barely visible tiny surface moth grazes (the most noticeable are on the left shoulder & right from hem, shown arrowed both on the stand & flat) & a very small hole near the top of the kick vent (arrowed). Has been thoroughly steamed prior to listing.
