A vintage early 1950s dress, made from a lightweight cotton fabric with a woven checked pattern in shades of brown, beige & white. It has a fitted bodice with enormous pointed collar, short sleeves with pointed turn-back cuffs & slim skirt darted at the waist so that the curved pocket entries stand proud from the body. There is a silver metal 'Aero' zip running down the front to hip level behind a placket which is mirrored in a pleat down the back.

Condition: In excellent condition overall, appears seldom worn. Has been carefully hand washed & steamed prior to listing.
