A vintage circa 1950s or early 1960s zip-up cardigan or lumberjacket , hand knitted (probably using an earlier pattern judging by the shorter body) from what feels like a mostly wool blend yarn in bottle green colour. Made in a kind of broad rib stitch with bands of plain & fancy knit, it has a ribbed square collar, ribbed waistband & cuffs, & fastens with a silver metal 'Lightning' zip with fantail puller.
