A vintage 1950s 'Rembrandt Original' shirt dress made from medium weight wool in charcoal grey with woven turquoise checks. It has a V neck with pointed collar & revers, a full-length fly front opening with grey plastic buttons & loop fastening at the top, lightly padded shoulders, a decorative scalloped mock pocket flap & elbow length sleeves pleated into buttoning tab cuffs; the skirt is flared, with 2 front & 1 rear pleats with bias inserts. There is a matching belt with self-covered buckle.

Condition:
In very good condition with light wear overall - there is a moth nibble on the back of the collar, where a short section of turquoise is missing - 2 tiny repairs under the right armpit - the belt backing is creased & a bit flaky. Has been carefully hand washed &steamed prior to listing
