A vintage hand-knitted fair isle slipover or sleeveless jumper, made circa 1970s/1980s, probably using a 1940s/50s pattern. Skilfully knitted (but not so skilfully sewn together!) in yarns which feel like a mostly wool blend, perhaps wool & alpaca rather than a synthetic, with an intricate overall design in a mix of dark brown, green & burgundy on a beige background.

Condition: In very good condition overall, with light wear & a few bobbles - a couple of tiny repairs which the camera couldn't see - slight pulling at the bottom of the V - the side seams are not very neatly sewn together.
