Vintage Mens Hand Knitted Fair Isle Sweater Jumper Cream Green Rust Brown Wool 1980s 1940s 1950s Style Fairisle Pullover
Vintage Mens Hand Knitted Fair Isle Sweater Jumper Cream Green Rust Brown Wool 1980s 1940s 1950s Style Fairisle Pullover
A vintage early 1980s V-neck fair isle jumper, hand knitted from medium-weight yarns which feel like a mostly wool blend, using a quite well-known Sirdar pattern which was reissued featuring a photo of actor Peter Davison at the time of the original 'All Creatures Great & Small' TV series. It has a traditional snowflake / cloverleaf & zigzag design on the body in 2 shades of green & rusty brown on a cream background with plain sleeves - would work well with '40s/'50s styles.
Please study the photographs carefully - they form an important part of the description.
