A rather shabby, distressed pair of vintage 1910s/1920s trousers, made from a medium-weight herringbone pinstripe wool soft wool fabric in charcoal grey tones. They have a flat front, high waist with fishtail back & cinch buckle strap, button fly, braces buttons, 2 side slip pockets, 1 rear flapped pocket, & tapered legs with sloped hems. Good for a workwear or character style outfit rather than for a day at the races!

Size: Suggested 38" waist.
All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate for circumference (with approx. metric equivalent):

Inside leg: 32 1/2" (82.5cm)

Rise - crotch seam to top of waist: 15" (38cm)

Condition:
In distressed condition overall, not heavily worn but with about 30 moth holes & nibbles scattered overall, the largest are on the left thigh & on the seat - crazing to the buttons - some discolouration & marks to the linings & pocket bags. Have been hand washed & thoroughly steamed prior to listing.
