A charming vintage circa 1940s hand-knitted fair isle V-neck slipover or sleeveless jumper, made from fine yarns which feel like pure wool with an overall Argyle diamond pattern in light blue & mottled beige.

Condition: In very good condition overall, with light wear & some bobbling - the making up has been done rather untidily, resulting in some gaps in the stitches on the shoulders & at the V of the neck - the neck & waist ribbing have been done in a slightly different coloured yarn, & when looking inside it can be seen that for some reason the waistband has been knitted onto the remains of previous ribbing, perhaps to change the size. Has been carefully hand washed & steamed prior to listing.
