Superb vintage 1940s German trousers made from a medium weight, wide herringbone weave wool fabric in darkest blue-black - some photos lightened to show details. They are full-cut & wide in the leg, have double inward pleats, nicely detailed waistband with extended tab & raised belt loops, button fly, braces buttons with rear 'rabbit ear' tabs, 2 welted front pockets, front cash or watch pocket & 1 rear pocket with scalloped flaps & turn-ups made in the Continental half-depth manner.

Size: Suggested 34" waist. All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate for circumference (with approx. metric equivalent):
Waist: 17" (43cm) [nothing to let out] Inside leg: 30" (76cm) [nothing to let down without using/reconstructing the turn-ups] Outside leg: 41 1/2" (105cm) Rise - crotch seam to top of waist: 12 1/2" (32cm) Leg width at hem: 10 1/2" (27cm)
Condition: In excellent condition, appear seldom or perhaps never worn - on closer examination there is a small patch of wear or surface rub below the right knee (see close up) - some very faint yellowing to the pocket bags. Have been thoroughly steamed & brushed prior to listing.
