Vintage Mens 1940s Double Breasted Overcoat Coat Brown Wool Back Belt 40"
A fantastic vintage 1940s German overcoat, made by 'Fritz Kronacher, Luneberg' from a thick wool cloth in a herringbone weave in dark chocolate brown. It is double-breasted with 6 buttons, has broad lapels, medium-padded shoulders, gauntlet cuffs, 2 flapped lower pockets, & back belt with 2 buttons; all enhanced by double rows of top-stitching on the seams & edges. Fully lined with dark brown satiny twill fabric, with 2 inside breast pockets.

Size: Suggested Medium Regular, to fit about a 40" chest, depending on whether a suit jacket is worn beneath.

Condition:
In excellent condition, with light wear overall - there is a tiny hole on the lower left skirt front, about 5" up from the hem (arrowed) & a few scattered tiny moth nips on the right front hem area. Has been thoroughly steamed & brushed prior to listing.
