A super vintage 1940s overcoat from the well-known quality outfitters 'Sidney Heath' of Swansea. Made from a thick, soft & slightly fleecy wool double-faced cloth in chocolate brown with bold checks inside. It is double-breasted with 6 buttons, has broad lapels, patented one-piece collar, medium-padded shoulders, gauntlet cuffs, 2 flapped lower patch pockets, & back belt with 2 buttons; all enhanced by top-stitching on the seams & edges. Part lined with dark brown satiny twill fabric, with 1 inside breast pocket.

Size: Suggested Small Short/Regular, to fit about a 38" chest, depending on whether a suit jacket is worn beneath.

Condition:
In very condition, with light wear overall - there are a few tiny surface moth nips here & there which the camera couldn't see - the top button has been restitched with rather red thread & the others are a bit loose - I suspect the hem has been shortened slightly at some point. Has been thoroughly steamed & brushed prior to listing.
