An absolutely superb vintage 1940s overcoat, made by 'Drescott Clothes' from a thick & cosy double-faced wool cloth with a diagonal weave in shades of dark chocolate brown on the outside & brown/red plaid on the inside. It is double-breasted with broad lapels, has quite heavily padded shoulders, top-stitched seams giving swelled edges, cuff turnbacks, 2 lower hand-warmer pockets with fleecy cotton linings, & matching belt with lacquered metal buckle. Part lined with dark brown satiny fabric, with an inside breast pocket.

Size: Suggested Large, Long fitting, to fit about a 42" chest depending on whether a suit jacket is worn beneath. Photographed on a 38" mannequin over a jacket.
