Excellent vintage 1940s German trousers made from a medium weight wool flannel type fabric in marled mid-grey with white pinstripes. They are full-cut & wide in the leg, have fronts with one inward pleat & one dart, super detailed waistband with extended, angle-ended double-button tab with corresponding opposite decorative buttons, side adjuster tabs with fancy embossed buckles, button fly, braces buttons with rear 'rabbit ear' tabs, 2 welted front pockets, 1 rear pocket with generous scalloped flap & unusual extra-deep 2 1/4" turn-ups made in the Continental half-depth manner.

Size: Suggested 30" waist. All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate for circumference (with approx. metric equivalent):
Waist: 15" (38cm) - about 1 1/2" to let out Inside leg: 29 3/4" (75.5cm) [nothing to let down without using/reconstructing the turn-ups - if these were completely let down to a raw edge the inside leg would be about 33"] Outside leg: 42 1/2" (108cm) Rise - crotch seam to top of waist: 13 3/4" (35cm) Leg width at hem: 11 1/4" (28.5cm)
Condition: In very good condition with light wear overall - there are 2 small holes on the inner left leg towards the hem (arrowed) - a small hole on the inner right thigh/seat (arrowed) - a few faint marks - the seat seam has been taken in but the original stitching left in place, so the seam is a bit lumpy. Have been thoroughly steamed prior to listing.
