An unusual vintage circa 1950s/1960s German hoodless duffle coat, made (or retailed) by the famous 'Ladage & Oelke, Hamburg' from thick melton cloth in dark or navy blue. Cut in a loose, easy-fitting style, with double shoulder yoke panels, generous rounded collar with storm tab to allow fastening close to the neck, cuff tabs, large patch pockets, & short side vents at the hem; it is unlined & fastens with plastic toggles through plaited cords, with a button tab towards the hem.

Size: Marked EU 48, to fit about a 38" chest, depending on whether a suit jacket is worn beneath.

Condition:
In very good condition with light wear overall - one cuff button is broken (could be replaced with one from under the collar) - there is a wear / a moth chew on the bottom right hem corner - a few other surface nips which the camera couldn't see. Has been thoroughly steamed & brushed prior to listing.
