A vintage late 1940s or early 1950s overcoat by 'Brown, Muff & Co.' of Bradford, made from a thick & slightly fleecy herringbone weave wool cloth in a marled dark grey which in certain light has a greenish cast. It is 6-button double-breasted with broad lapels, has medium-padded shoulders, gauntlet cuff turn-backs, 2 lower slash pockets with fleecy linings, & matching belt with a leather-covered buckle. Part lined with black rayon fabric, with an inside breast pocket..
