A vintage circa 1950s hand-knitted fair isle V-neck slipover or sleeveless jumper, made from fine yarns which feel like wool or wool/nylon blends with linear geometric designs in browns, yellow, blue, red & off-white on a beige background.

Size: Suggested UK XS - Shown on a mannequin with a 38" chest & it was too tight (Please check measurements below) All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate (with approx. metric equivalent): Chest pit to pit: 17” (43cm) Shoulder to shoulder: 14 1/4” (36cm) Length neck to hem: 23 1/2” (59.7cm) Across waist (unstretched): 14 1/2” (37cm)
Condition: In good condition overall, with light wear & some bobbling - there are 3 areas of repair to the waistband (see close ups) - a few snags & pulls which may need attention - some faint brown marks to the bottom of the V neck (circled) & a small mark on the lower front. Has been carefully hand washed & steamed prior to listing.
