A vintage circa 1950s or early 1960s zip-up cardigan or lumberjacket, hand knitted from a tweedy-looking knobbly or boucle textured yarn which feels like pure wool in marled gingery browns, greens & greys. It has a ribbed shawl collar, raglan sleeves, ribbed waistband & cuffs, & fastens with a silver metal 'Lightning' zip with fantail puller.

Condition: In good condition overall with some surface wear, fuzziness & minor bobbling - the zip is missing 2 teeth (arrowed) & is a bit stiff, but works OK if treated gently - there is some fading across the shoulders - a paler strip across the lower right front where for some reason the yarn is predominately greyer. Has been carefully hand washed & steamed prior to listing.
