A vintage 1950s Harris Tweed sports jacket, made from 100% pure virgin wool in a marled mid-green colour - on my screen the close-up of the shoulder is most accurate. Single breasted 3-button fastening with medium lapels - side vents - medium padded shoulders - fitted waist - welted breast & lower flapped pockets - leather 'football' buttons with an unusual 2 per cuff - body lined with green satiny fabric with 1 chest & 1 ticket pocket, sleeves lined with ivory rayon. The Harris label is one of the many non-association types used in the '50s.

Size: Suggested 38 Regular Photographed on a 38" mannequin. All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate for circumference (with approx. metric equivalent):

Condition: In excellent, gently worn condition overall - there is a small brownish mark on the right shoulder (circled in close up) - some faint marks & scuffs to the lining. Has been thoroughly steamed prior to listing.
