A vintage 1950s Harris Tweed sports jacket made in England by 'Keldon', in an uncommon mini check or grid weave in shades of brown, greens & black. Single breasted 3-button fastening with notch lapels - single vent - medium padded shoulders - fitted or suppressed waist - welted breast & angled lower flapped pockets - brown leather 'football' buttons - fully lined with dark blue/grey rayon twill with 1 chest pocket, sleeves lined with ivory. Fitted with a beautiful woven picture label at the neck rather than a standard Harris Association one.

Size: Suggested 40 Regular Photographed on a 38" mannequin. All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate for circumference (with approx. metric equivalent):

Condition: In very good condition, with moderate wear overall - there is slight yellowing/discolouration to the collar fold & at the elbows - a few faint marks - the lining has some watermarks, scuffs & snags - a hole & some fraying at the edge of the inside pocket - stains & watermarks to the sleeve linings, with a split seam in the left one. Has been thoroughly steamed & brushed prior to listing.
