A deadstock vintage circa 1950s/60s French or Belgian back-belted workwear jacket, made by 'Detis' from white cotton drill fabric. Cut in a classic style, unlined & unstructured, with 3-button front, notch lapels, rear half-belt mounted quite high with pleats above and below, & 3 patch pockets.

Size: Marked EU 48, Suggested 38"- 40", depending on what is worn beneath. Photographed on a 38" mannequin.
All measurements are external, taken with the garment laid flat, to be doubled where appropriate for circumference (with approx. metric equivalent):

Condition:
In unworn, 'new old stock' condition - there is storage discolouration & yellowing across the shoulders & down the sleeves from years of being folded - a few scattered brown spots & marks, the most obvious of which are shown in close ups. Has been thoroughly steamed but not washed prior to listing.
