A vintage 1950s 'Popular' brand shirt, Empire made from cotton fabric in off white with a Tattersall check pattern in black, yellow, green & pinky-brown. Half-buttoned pullover or overhead style with a squarish collar with stay slots, long tails with reinforcing gussets, & long sleeves pleated into single cuffs.

Size: Marked 16" neck, but measures smaller, see measurements below. Shown on a mannequin with a 38" chest. Condition: In excellent condition overall, apparently unworn, still slightly stiff & starchy. Has been gently washed & pressed prior to listing.
