A vintage 1960s 2-piece 'Daks' suit from the well-known outfitters Simpson of Piccadilly, made from a fairly lightweight thornproof type all wool tweed cloth in speckled light olivey-browns with subtle orange window-pane overchecks. Single-breasted 3 button jacket with quite lightly padded shoulders, slim notch lapels, slightly fitted waist, side vents welted chest & flapped lower pockets, cuffs with 4 decorative buttons; fitted with horn buttons, fully lined in light olive rayon acetate with off-white sleeve linings. Trousers are quite full cut with tapered legs, single inward pleats, side waist button adjusters, side slip & 2 rear pockets, 'Lightning' zip fly, & turn-ups.
Shirt & tie not included.

Condition: In excellent condition overall, appears seldom worn - there are a few faint marks to the jacket lining - the trouser waist has been taken in & some hand-stitching is visible on the inside - faint marks to the lining & pocket bags. Has been thoroughly steamed & brushed prior to listing.
