An unusual vintage circa 1960s jumper, hand knitted from fairly chunky, soft yarn which feels like pure wool in a marled greenish blue colour. It has a V neck, stocking stitch body with central cable or chain stitch pattern front & back, ribbed raglan sleeves, ribbed waistband & neckband with front overlap. A label sewn in the neck shows that it was once the property of a lucky chap named Jack Smith.
