A rare vintage new old stock 1950s sports or work shirt by the well-known British outfitters 'Billings & Edmonds', made from a medium-weight wool fabric in black (my camera struggled to photograph it properly) with a slight nap which every bit of fluff tries to cling to! It is in the half-buttoned pullover or overhead style with a soft 'spearpoint' collar, has long tails with reinforcing gussets, & long sleeves pleated into cuffs with gussets in the vents; the buttons are pearly plastic, & there is a hanging loop at the neck.

Size: Marked 15" neck. Shown on a mannequin with a 38" chest. Condition: In excellent, unworn condition - one cuff button is coming loose. Never washed, has been steamed prior to listing.
