Vintage Reproduction 1930s Dress Printed Cotton Handmade From Original 30s Pattern UK XS
A vintage reproduction dress recently made using an original American early 1930s pattern (pattern not included), from a 100% cotton fabric from the 'American Jane Patterns' range made in Japan for Moda Fabrics, with an Argyle diamond print in red, green, yellow & black on a white background, and vintage findings. It has a round neck, Dolman type bodice which opens to the waist with poppers & decorative large green faceted early plastic buttons, & long wide sleeves with turn-back cuffs; the skirt is quite slim-hipped, with a deep front pleat & 2 patch pockets with angled tops. There is a side opening with popper fasteners. The dress has been nicely made in a traditional manner using a combination of hand & machine stitching; the inside seams are finished (see last photo).
The belt and pattern is NOT included and is NOT for sale
