A really delightful vintage late 1930s or 1940s toque or fez style hat from the famous London department store 'Selfridges'. Made from a single cone-shaped piece of brown felt, curved at the bottom & trimmed with pleated brown silk velvet 'knotted' around a strip of real fur (I don't know what kind). It has a narrow petersham sweatband & is intended to perch on the head.

Condition: In excellent condition overall, with light wear & some fur loss around the top of the strip.
